NYC distribution?

    Hi all,
I'm a Euro resident (UK/Sweden) who's fortunate enough to have relatives around the US, and now I've finally managed to persuade my sister-in-law (who lives in Brooklyn, NY) to periodically send me beer shipments.

Since she can get most beers that are distributed and available in the NY area, I'm wondering about breweries that have NY distribution (I'd rather not send her on a wild goose chase looking for stuff she won't be able to find anyway). For example, are breweries like Hill Farmstead and Lawson's Liquors even available outside VT? Does Cigar City distribute to NY? Dogfish Head? Can you reliably get Ithaca beers in NYC? Do any West Coast and Midwest breweries ever see NY distribution (e.g. Surly, Russian River, Bell's - will Hopslam be available in NY, for example)?

Could someone NY-based please help out and just give me some names of semi-unusual breweries whose beers are available in NYC on a regular or semi-regular basis? This is excepting the more obvious ones that are distributed across most of the country, of course (e.g. Sierra Nevada, Stone, Goose Island). And are there any interesting NY beers I should seek out (I'm aware of Sixpoint, Southampton, and Southern Tier)?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for a query like this; I posted in the Trade Help forum simply because I thought people in the trading community might have a better idea about which breweries are distributed where, and what you can get your hands on in NYC (of course providing you go to specialist stores like New Beer Distributors and the like).

    Thanks,
    Henrik

Wow, thanks - it's exactly something like this I was looking for but being a noob I didn't know it existed.
And this can be assumed to be reasonably up-to-date and accurate?

    Thanks,
    HenrikO
