I agree about Brooklyn, but did mention it for mostly selfish reasons - it's only a 15 min. pit stop for me on the way home, and they have free parking, so that's the one I'm most likely to hit. Their growler station can be pretty handy, too.

The UWS Whole Foods has gone downhill big time in the last two or three months. Haven't seen their beer guy once in that time span, everyone else working in the department are clueless, and the stock has not changed at all in that time span. It's almost like they got rid of the beer guy and gave up on keeping a respectable beer dept. Went in last week and asked if Founders Harvest Ale was in yet and the response I got was, "no but there are plenty of other great pumpkin beers!" I just turned around and walked away...

Yeah I've got that vibe a bit at Bowery too.

Has anyone seen Aaron there? He's the tall, thin guy with glasses, and longish dark hair. He used to be the beer guy at WF Tribeca (and did an awesome job), then moved briefly to WF Midtown East, then to WF Bowery (as the Bowery buyer was going to Brooklyn), but I haven't seen him around for months
