Taking a trip from Boston to NYC this weekend. I'll only be in the city, but any suggestions for any (preferably) hoppy goodness to bring back to the fridge?

Also as a note, for those with the good sense to suggest Flower Power, I found out today that Flower Power has made its way back to eastern Mass! Actually picked up the first pack off the pallet at whole foods this afternoon and enjoying it now.

    Thanks

If you are taking the Taconic Parkway through Westchester county at any point down (don't know if you are driving or not) at any point, a stop at Peekskill Brewery will yield some fine Hoppy Goodness. Shotgun Willie and Double Standard are both growler only and delicious. To find what specifically you might be looking to buy or drink beermenus dot com can help. For a spot to drink a fine beer Rattle n Hum is in midtown and is my personal fave, Gingerman in same area also good, Blind Tiger is downtown and fantastic.

If you are looking to buy beer i would definitely recommend New Beer and Whole Foods Bowery. The stocks overlap a bit, but i have found quite a few differences and they are only a couple blocks from each other. I second Rattle N Hum and Blind Tiger.

You're probably back in Boston already, but next time if you are looking for a store to purchase something you can't get at home, try DeCicco's in Brewster or Ardsley. Growlers, bottles & cans are all available.
