Alright so I'm in the city today, specifically Chelsea but am moving around. Currently at Lupulo eating oysters. Plan on going to generation records on thompson and milk and hops after. question: what's new to the city on tap that people have been enjoying recently? Harder to find stuff particularly.
there's always a lot of good local brewery releases around on tap, singlecut, finback, grimm, other half, threes, lic beer project, and some places have stuff outside nyc like hill farmstead, as far as hard to find stuff bars usually tap it for occasions, milk and hops usually has good taps from local spots so that's a good place to figure out what you like
Yea at milk and hops now. Solid place. They have sunday mole stout on and grimm apricot rubeus. I probably should have clarified I was looking for non-local beers, as I only live 20 miles outside the city and regularly drink all our fantastic local beers.
Not sure if you are still around but I remember seeing a Sherry version of JW Lees Harvest Ale and Tilquin L'Ancienne at Proletariat. Both are beers I would go out of my way for.
