Greetings from NC. I will be in NYC this weekend, staying at The Ace on 26th Street. Looking for a good beer spot in the area for tomorrow night (Fri., 3/8). I have been to The Blind Tiger in the West Village, which was excellent. But I am looking for something a little closer to my hotel this time. Thanks in advance. Hope I can return the favor if you find yourself in the Carolinas.
the bar in the hotel you're staying in looks to have some serviceable stuff available. But if you want a larger selection than the Ginger Man or Rattle & Hum are your places.
Waterfront Ale House on 2nd Ave @ 30th St. Gingerman is also doable. And Pony Bar on 10th Ave is sizably widening your loop but well worth it.
