    I'm going to NYC coming up for a night to go to a concert at MSG. Never been out down there, wondering if anyone has any thoughts on good beer bars in midtown. Looks like The Ginger Man might be a good one to check out.

    near MSG you have District Tap House, Rattle N Hum, Ginger Man, Haymaker, and Rattle N Hum West. If you have some need to be super close to MSG, Stout will do in a pinch.

    Haymaker is wonderful. Always go there before Ranger games.
