Myself, my girlfriend, and another couple will be staying in Chicago for new years eve. Before doing any research we decided to stay in the river north area. Any recommendations for good bars within either walking distance or very short cab/train ride would he much appreciated. Yes, I have seen all the threads recently about places in Chicago but am looking for specific advice keeping in mind it will be NYE. Thanks!
