Oak Aged Gnomegang

    I had this on Saturday at the annual BCTC festival at the Ommegang Brewery (if anyone who was there saw a short drunk guy with a Yankees cap screaming in a Scottish accent, that was me).

    My goodness this was even better than regular Gnomegang, and Gnomegang was one of the best beers I've ever had.

    Anyone else try it? Anyone know if its ever gonna be bottled? I'm hoping that it will at least be on tap somewhere in the lower New York area.

    Is it bad that I saw "Gnomegang" out of the corner of my eye and read it as "gangbang"?

    It wouldn't surprise me if they did at least for a limited time like they did with regular Gnomegang.

    When I see a Gnome, I don't hesitate. :wink: So far every beer I've had involving a Gnome has been excellent. I would love to try this!

    I've neglected trying Gnomegang thus far. Though, I suppose that's the luxury of having incredible distribution here, I can pick it up whenever I want to try it. Even without trying it, if I see the oak aged version, I won't hesitate to purchase it. Ommegang makes good beers, and I haven't been disappointed so far.
