Hey all. I just moved to Oak Park IL not long ago and was wondering if there were any fellow BAs roundabout these parts who may want to share some brews or hit a bar or something sometime? It's a pretty cool neighborhood from what I can see so far. Most of the beer destinations seem to be in town a little more (Chicago) which is fine since I work one of my jobs in Bucktown. So. Roll call. Who else is in Oak Park? (I apologize if there's already an oak park thread..)
Welcome to the area! I'm in Oak Lawn now, but went to college in River Forest and still have friends in the area. I predict that you'll be spending lots of time at Poor Phil's. Brixie's isn't too far if you head south, and there are plenty of good places further west (Lunar, Bavarian Lodge).
