Wondering who all has been to this fest and how it stacks up. The brewery lineup looks like it has all of the big local players, so I'll likely end up going. Just curious about what to expect, I guess (crowded? long lines? kinda chill?). Also, any feedback on the Hop Challenge would be helpful. Don't think I can justify the $$$ of VIP tickets, but would consider paying a bit extra if the Hop Challenge is worth it. I go every year since it's virtually in my backyard, usually as somewhat of a family outing. It's fairly crowded because it's not in a closed off area. There will be strollers and at least some people that aren't drinking. This affects walking through the chokepoints more than the lines, which I would call average length for the most part. I would hit the "sexy" breweries first since they seem to run out every year. Don't expect crazy whalez, but there's usually a surprise or two (like getting 3 pours of Smore Luv last year). I have yet to splurge for the VIP or themed ticket since I'm there with more casual drinkers.
