As awesome as everything will be, well mostly, the Barrel Aged Victory at Sea will prob still rule them all. But the 2008 Stone BA IRS was prob the biggest, and best surprise last year. So damn good.

That's a pretty decent deal, too. $45 for 15 3 oz. tasters is solid.

Any way to buy more tasters? :grinning:

    What are your must-try beers?

Agreed, that was darn good. Idk if I can make it to this one but if I do would have to try the Bruery Coton, Bruery 100% BA Cuir, & Velvet Merkin

The first year extra tickets were sold. Last year I just bought an extra ticket for my girlfriend (dd)she had like 2 or 3 pours and the rest my buddy and I split. The list is pretty similar to last year, great beers but I don't see anything mind blowing like LA Duck Duck Guava, or cherry adam from the wood. Hopefully more will be added.

I don't think either of those were on the list until the day of, so i am hoping for some more great surprises

The '08 BBA RIS was the surprising highlight of the 15th Anniv. party for me as well. Great stuff. As for this events list, I'll probably hit the Eclipse pretty good, definitely the BBA victory at sea, ten fidy, gonzo, a 100% bba cuir. And I'll do my best to try something new and different that I haven't heard of before, I tend to get stuck enjoying what I've already had.

The 2008 BA RIS and BA Ten Fidy are both ridiculously good. Probably the highlights of last year's Oakquinox.

Anyone need a ticket that hasn't bought one? I'm attending a funeral that day so looks like I won't be able to make it.

    Some decent tips for Sunday.

A few others of possible interest for folks........

    Pizza Port Carlsbad Farley
Oskar Blues Barrel Aged Ten Fidy Imperial Stout
2008 Stone Imperial Russian Stout aged in Bourbon Barrels (Hands down my favorite of last year's event)
Ballast Point Bourbon Barrel Aged Navigator Dopplebock (If it's the 100% BA'd version, it's a massive treat!)
