Does anyone have an Extra ticket to the event? If so, let me know one of my friends is in town that weekend and really wants to go....

    Thanks!

I would also like to throw my name in the mix for anyone that has an extra ticket. If you do, hit me up. I can even come pick up the ticket from you Thursday or Friday.

I already posted in the other oakquinox thread, but I might as well join this party too. I am in need of 1-2 tickets for procrastinators/newbie-beer-fans

A good reminder for me to get Sour Fest tickets ASAP so I don't have to be looking for a ticket.

I hate how much in advance these are for sale. We are way too close to scalpers getting a foothold into this world. It's already happening with Dark Lord Day, isn't it?

what do you mean by this?

I think having the tickets for sell way in advance helps reduce the potential of scalpers. It allows everyone enought iem to get their tickets. Plus with how long it takes for these tickets to sell, it is not within a scalpers best interest to buy then sell these tickets, because people could always still buy them through BPT.

If the tickets were sold more as a last moment, then I think a little hysteria would be created causing sells to go up. Causing people with a high interest in going getting shut out. As of now, the only people who got shut out are procrastinators or people who have been on the fence.

Scalpers just haven't caught on yet. These are sellouts every single time. Could be easy money for them. I have no idea what my schedule in July is going to be. Most people probably do, but some of us don't. I know I might as well buy the tickets because they will be a slam-dunk to unload if I need to. That's what made me think scalpers should be licking their chops about these fests. Dark Lord Day tickets are only a couple hundred bucks, btw if you're interested.... Those were a mad scramble style though (weren't they?), so maybe you're right and this is the right way to avoid the scalpers since it hasn't happened yet. Hopefully I'm just being cynical.
