For four years I have been visiting Fairmont, WV several times a year. Over this time the only available craft beers have been an occasional Harpoon or Flying Dog at Buffalo Wild Wings or the Sam Adams seasonal, Magic Hat, and recently Goose Island at Applebees. My son insisted we go to his favorite place for wings for dinner, Hoops on Locust Ave. Of the 10 beers they have on tap 8 are microbrews! They were out of two, but we enjoyed Sierra Nevada Harvest and Rivertowne IPA with our wings. Finally a place with good food and beer without driving to Morgantown. Next trip he is taking us to Throw and Joe which he says has a good tap selection as well.
