Bent rivers uncommon stout is a stellar coffee stout. They just expanded distro into Wisconsin and eastern Iowa.

I like the Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast and the Brunch Weasel is truly fantastic. Both are very "coffee forward," which is to be expected. Both are also pricey, so I stick with Founders Breakfast Stout as my go-to coffee stout. As noted by others, the coffee flavor is strong, but is nicely balanced by the bitterness of the chocolate.

does the cinnamon overpower it? is it like coffee and cinnamon>? the reason I ask is did a HB recently as a Founder BS clone with a dash of vanilla and cin. I cannot wait to drink it.

I will argue that I have never had more coffee flavor in a beer than uber-fresh FBS. I may be inclined to say that I do like WnB more than FBS but I cannot really agree with the coffee presence.

WnB seems like it stepped it up in the coffee department this year compared to previous batches. This is my first year with FBS but the bottles I have are just as fresh as the WnB. Both are awesome beers, I will continue to enjoy both in the future.

Not at all, the cinnamon is added perfectly IMO. Awesome beer!
