Oatmeal Stouts in Pittsburgh area?

    Hello everyone,

    I have been having a hard time finding straightforward Oatmeal Stouts in Pittsburgh - Helicon Brewing out west makes a great one, but I live in the North Hills. Does anyone have suggestions, please?

    I'm looking for one without marshmallows / coffee / etc added. I've considered learning to brew my own! Hitchhiker used to make a beer called "Shadow Walker" that I loved, but it's discontinued.

    Have you considered just buying some Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout :beers:

    I did find a good oatmeal stout at Coven Brewing in Lawrenceville - it is in the former Roundabout Brewing building. They have 4-packs.

    if you use Untappd have you tried searching the Top Rated Beers or Trending Beers in that style through the App? You can set a specific radius within a certain area to get within a small target area.
