Although techinically an oatmeal porter, I really enjoy Mayflower

Velvet Merkin is sorta cheating. It's like a session Bourbon Feast!

I'm with @MilkManX on this one. Samuel Smiths.

Also don't mind Oatis, Vanilla Oatis, Schlafly Oatmeal too.

After careful delineation in my mind, I've come to the conclusion that my two favorite oatmeal stouts are...

    ...and...

Come to think of it, these two are extremely similar: both are hoppy and roasty, both have a noticeable oat flavor/texture, and both have a subdued coffee presence. Also, both kick ass. Shame BGB is so damn expensive and hard to find...

I've also been on a oatmeal stout kick lately and my favorites have been Bristol Winter Warlock and Marble Oatmeal Stout. Although I love FW beers, I was underwhelmed by velvet merkin

Yeti Oatmeal Stout is really good. It's the best Oatmeal Stout I've tried.

Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout is probably the king. Also love Roughtail Rock Tsar. Maybe my favorite style of stout. Coming from a guy who can't stand oatmeal cereal or cookies.

Not too helpful as it is in only a handful of states, but Marble Oatmeal Stout is really nice. Odell Gramps (within their montage pack) was great too.

I found both of the above to be of similar quality to Velvet Merlin.\

Barney flats is definitely filling the biggest USA void for their oatmeal stout. Solid BA score, and taste. No complaints. Availability seems solid, and its quite the beer.

Not a true oatmeal stout, I suppose, but Founders Breakfast Stout has some oat flavor and feel to go with the coffee and chocolate.

I think Anderson Valley is easily the best. New Holland Poet worth trying. I very surprisingly did not care for Dark Horse. I have not had it for awhile, but I also think Breckenridge makes a pretty good one.

And not at all helpful to anyone in New York, sadly.

(Don't mean to criticize...just lamenting the unavailability of Moon Man right now)

+1 on the Yeti oatmeal stout. It's fairly easy to find relative to some of the other mentioned oatmeal stouts, and it tastes great. In general, Great Divide makes a variety of badass stouts.
