Just heard the news that the newest Yeti will be Oatmeal Yeti; made with raisins. http://beerstreetjournal.com/great-divide-oatmeal-yeti-imperial-stou/ Not sure what I think yet...not a big fan of raisins, but I'll likely give it a try regardless.
They had their pilot batch on draft a few weeks ago, and then had it again at their anniversary party this past weekend. I was a fan. I like the other variations better, but overall still a solid beer.
Sounds good - and the reports from this past weekend have been great, too. I just wish Belgian Yeti didn't have to die for this one to happen.
Love oatmeal stouts so Oatmeal Yeti sounds great, but the inclusion of the raisins is a potential deal breaker for me. Not a raisin fan to begin with and the one oatmeal stout brewed with raisins I have tried, I didn't care for.
Hmmm...wasn't a fan of the B-Yeti. Stout and Belgian don't mix well for me. Oatmeal raisin sounds interesting, since I get some raisin in original Yeti anyway
Yes and shit. Good catch. The Hell Raisin is what I had at the tap room. I believe they had the Oatmeal at the Anniversary party, but to be honest, I was pretty laced by the time I made it to that back tent haha
I tried it at the Anniversary Party. Thought it was good, mellow for a Yeti. I like every other Yeti better with Belgian being the exception. But that definitely does not make it bad. I'll drink it any time it's available
