OC Beer Bars

I know right! So out of the box.

 

They were probably worried that Taproom X would pigeon hole them a little too much.

 

I’m going to throw this in this thread since it’s considered a bar I guess. Went to a rare Thursday afternoon Angels game yesterday with my oldest son. We had lunch at Green Cheek Costa Mesa location and then an afternoon ballgame. So I hit up the ballparks Oggi stand for a pour. Elysian Space Dust was the only thing interested me. Until I found out it was a 12oz pour for the same price as a 20+oz pour. So I went with a BreweryX Slap who and Tickle what? Not good. Good thing I had Dirty Hippie before heading to our seats. Other than the bad beer Show Hey Oh Tany hit 2 solo homers. Good times.

 

On the ground floor, behind home plate there's a "Craft Beer" stand that sells local brewery's beers including Green Cheek. Expect to pay premium prices, but at least it's good beer.

 

When I go to the stadium I buy Miller Lite/Bud. $4.50 for a 12 oz can. Something in my beer-soaked soul runs weeping from the thought of a (nearly) double sawbuck plastic cup of beer (That's $20 for those of you aren't as old as the Gunman. Or me).

 

Damn.

 

it's a shame X's beer sucks because it's a great place to hangout with some damn good food

never tried a beer there that i actually enjoyed
