    Looks like most people want Valiant but Iriepirate21 's Store sounds cool too. Maybe we could do a second one there. I would prefer not to do OOTP because its not central at all and Im still bitter about what happened there a year or so ago with the owner being a Dick on here to people that legitimate concerns about how they were operating their special events.

    There will always be dicks at every gathering. That being said most people are super cool and generous with the beers they bring and dont care what everyone else does. Im bringing a ton of awesome beers I know most people would never share but I dont care at all if someone just brings a knuckle sandwich or a bottle of Pliny. I probably wont drink any of it so I can save my drunkenness for other beers but anyone is welcome to anything I open. Hell I really wouldn't care if someone brought nothing. Im going to have a ton to share. I should have just made a come drink my beer party.

    yeah, I'm in the stance that I'll bring a lot of stuff I'm excited to have an excuse to open that I overlook and don't even bother to see what others brought. If i get some of something I have been wanting to try, cool. But you can easily tell who's new to the sharing scene with the got-to-tick-them-all mentality and who is there for a chill time.

    I have now only been to 2 official shares, not counting all the times my buddies and I would bring bottles and play board games all day. The shit-talking after a few beers gets very interesting and humorous.

    I would say go to one and at the very least try it. I went mostly because I wanted to hang out with a few ppl and meet other beer nerds but I guess both I have gone to I never came across anybody that was bad (oh shit, maybe it was me then =P). But really, bring bottles, drop on table/ice chest and just enjoy the day. I did keep one bottle set aside at my first share since it was for a birthday and I was waiting for her to get there, not that it mattered since the bottle still made it around the room more than once, but other than that, always open up the bag and drop whatever I got for anyone and everyone to pick up, crack open, and enjoy.

    This sounds great! maybe we can do a second share for South OC people since Laguna can be tough for some people. But I'd love to see this happen.

    To be honest its looking like Pearl Street Genera because I was talking to the head brewer at valiant but now he wont respond to my emails. He was all excited and said he thinks its and awesome idea and would forward it to his tasting room manager but now nothing so ill be in communication with Iriepirate21 to set up a date and time

    Wouldn't Laguna be South OC? I would think North OC is lathe Anaheim area.

    I think a brewery is sort of redundant because... well, it's not like we're really contributing to their $$ if we're bring sand to the beach. A place with food works on two fronts as it's where we can support and thank the venue by spending cash, as well as give folks the option to not be completely turnt due to all the beers we're bringing.

    Bonus is that the more we drink the more we'll order.
