OC/LA/IE Breweries Offering To-Go Options While Closed

In Long Beach, LB Beer Lab and Ambitious Ales are both offering To-Go with online ordering for same day pick up.

 

Brouwerij West will be offering to-go package sales and crowlers fills of anything on the board. Taplist listed on the website.

 

Hopefully a few of the LA breweries move to delivery.

From Smog City's instagram: We are now offering call ahead orders for pick-up at our Torrance Brewery and Taproom from 12pm - 8pm each day starting now. If you need beer, please call (310) 320-7664 or send us a DM to place your order and we'll get it packaged up and ready for you to grab without even having to come inside. Here is the latest update on our overall hours and operations: Today, Monday 3/16 all three of our taprooms will only be open for TO-GO SALES ONLY to comply with local mandates and the best practices for our community. We will only fill new growlers. Crowlers, 6-packs, and bottles are available as well.

Monkish: As of today, the Tasting Room will be closed temporarily. BUT the brewery will be open for to-go sales ONLY (growlers, bottles, cans). We will be limiting entry at various spots to make purchases, and will mark off 6+ft distances with cones for any queues. Also, no cash transactions. We ask you to keep your social distance from anyone. Hours TODAY (Monday 3/16) will be 2-7pm and we will update this daily as needed. Please check our website for up to date info.⠀

Smog City is now offering delivery. From their email:

1. Ensure you live within the designated delivery area (see map here). If you do, great! Order away. If not, so sorry! We can only offer local delivery at this time

2. Visit our online beer store and place your order. When you check out, choose "Local Beer Delivery" as your shipping option. You can also order any of our available merch (hats, gift cards, pins, etc.) to be delivered with your beer. Be sure to add a "driver tip" to your cart when shopping if you want to tip! Our drivers are Smog City beertenders and your generosity is appreciated. If you spend over $50, use the code SUPPORTSMOG to get free delivery!

3. Wait for one of our awesome Smog City beertenders to deliver your beer the next day. So, if you order on a Monday, your beer will arrive on Tuesday. Beer deliveries will take place between 1:00pm - 6:00pm 7 days/week. Someone over 21 must be at your home to receive the order when we arrive. We will call about 30 minutes before we show up. You will need to show a valid ID to our driver.

OC Supervisors just ordered breweries to close unless they serve food. Hopefully GCToo and the few others that serve food can stay open for to go business.

 

Bottle Logic will be interesting ... they serve food but from their food truck. I’m assuming they’ll be fine.

In (235) & out (240). Still got home way before my usual Tuesday afternoon 405 drive. Very nice.

 

Dumb question ... but are breweries still making beer or just selling off “stock on hand”?

 

Likely the latter with possibly some much diminished production depending on their level of stock on hand and their guess at demand over the next month

 

Not only is Green Cheektoo offering crowler fills of their beers to go but their guest beers (Urban Roots & Pinthouse) as well. This is uncommon with the ABC laws.

 

Highland Park was offering fills of guest beers as well

 

Casa Agria doing California delivery. Ordered some today and they had free shipping to SF. Hopefully more breweries do delivery, since I don't think my wife would be cool with me heading out of the house to any of the local spots for beer pickups lol

 

Gotta get that craftsman hef!
