I know there are always a bunch of these but I appreciate the location specific help. I'm flying in to Santa Ana from Sacramento. Staying the night in Santa Ana and hitting up the Bruery like usual and then Bottle Logic the next day. Is Noble worth my time or should I go back to Bootleggers? Anywhere else nearby I should go or could pick up Beachwood bottles? I don't feel like going to Long Beach. I'm staying in Riverside/Moreno Valley for a couple of days after that. Is Hangar 24 worth my time? They are releasing Hammerhead this weekend. Does is get crazy there? Anyone ever go to their releases? Also wanted to go to Ironfire. I know the Salted Pig is close by and Ritual Brewery. Any other suggestions? Any good shops for bottles? I hit the Moreno Valley Bevmo last time and got some Modern Times to take back. I've been to all the big name places before and don't want to drive too far this trip (although it's hard passing up going to Societe when I get the chance). Thanks for your help BAs.

OK, so from the beginning. I personally prefer Bootlegger's over Noble, but I know many people who would say the exact opposite.
Hangar24 is definitely worth the time. It's a beautiful location, right next to the Redlands airport. I especially like it as early as possible, later it gets crowded and loud and that's not really my thing. Cool thing is that on top of their regular offerings there are always 3-4 seasonal beer available only at the brewery. On Fridays there's also a special cask beer every week.
Ritual is very nice and close to H24 so def worth checking out for a pint. Salted Pig - great food and awesome craft beer selection (both things better than Eureka in Redlands)
Regarding bottle shops, only La Bodega in Riverside, El Cerrito Liquor (the guys behind Remy's)...In Redlands Gerrards and Olive Ave Market have decent selection.

Skip Salted Pig and go to Killarney's, but do it before 10 PM.

If you've already been to Bootlegger's, perhaps check out Noble, just to mix things up.

As far as bottle shops, there are a ton, but if you're looking for Beachwood bottles, it really depends on when you're here. Is this for this weekend? Might be able to find Thrillseeker at some nearby Whole Foods. If you're going to be at the Bruery, would recommend hitting up Mr. K's Liquor for a solid bottle selection right near by. And would reiterate some of the local Whole Foods as worthwhile stops for bottles as well.

Yeah, this weekend. Do Beachwood bottles hit stores out there the same week as releases? I'll try to hit up a Whole Foods at some point and see if it has any Thrillseeker or Melrose.

Melrose won't be around. Thrillseeker is released today, and will likely be in stores starting Thursday.

HiTimes in Costa Mesa already has Thrillseeker, so it's out there.

    Also: Noble > Bootlegger's

No Whole Foods in the areas you'll be at. Your only shot at Beachwood would be to drive to El Cerrito in Corona.

Enjoy your trip! For OC I think that Hollingshead Deli and Beachwood BBQ have the best two tap lineups on a consistent basis. Both of them have nice updated websites to let you know whats on tap.

Would note though that Hollingshead is closed on weekends and Beachwood's closed on Mondays, however.

Bootleggers hasn't changed things up all that much lately. Noble releases Simcoe showers tomorrow and the oddly-named Man Milk is on tap and getting good reports. You could also try for Haven Provisions as an alternate/addition - it's pretty close to Nobles and has stuff on taps and good bottle selection.

I was just at Haven Provisions, and honestly their selection leaves a lot to be desired. They have 30 beer taps, and usually only have about 20 of them being utilized. Their beer selection has gotten smaller, and wine selection has gotten bigger. The beer cooler is selection is horribly merchandised! I've never seen a cooler that had so many shelves filled with duplicate facings of the same beer!
I would go to Mr. K's Liquor that's right by The Bruery. They are a liquor store that is new to the craft beer market. But they have a great selection of beer. They are always on the look out for the newest beers that are being released in Orange County. Not to mention that they are on the way in and out of The Bruery, and you won't waste anytime running around finding a beer shop. I do suggest WF in Tustin over Newport only cause of the distance. But both are equally as good in terms of quality selections. Newport might have a bigger selection, but both carry all the top tier beers that you would be looking for. They both have beer on tap as well!

First things first. . . .Societe? I believe BT's BBQ in HB (not far from SNA) has or is getting ready to tap the Publican. Check in on "Taphunter" for updates. You coming in Friday or Saturday? Afternoon or evening? Makes a big difference for traffic on the 405 if you want to take a chance and stop in at BT's. Hit up Noble Ale after your stop in BT's for some Simcoe Showers and a few bottles. It will still be around. Dudes Milk should still be on and Big Whig isn't bad at all. For Beachwood Thrillseeker bottles look here http://beachwoodbbq.com/brewery.html for locations and I would call ahead to make sure they got the bottles in. I'm positive they will still have bottles available this weekend and beyond.

I wouldn't skip all the others. But if you got a Costco card. Why not pick up a few bottles. Or not to far from Noble you can stop in at Provisions Market for a great selection of bottles.

El Cerrito Liquor in Corona is fantastic. Best bottle shop in the IE by far.

Apparently the IE is not worthy enough for Whole Foods. Sucks
