Might be headed down to Ocala with my daughter for a horse show (otherwise my wife will be taking her).

Looked through the older threads from a few years ago, I’ve made my notes on breweries to try and grab some beers from if I get the chance but what I’m looking for is a recommendation for the best bottle shop for local beers that is not too far away from the Equestrian Center.

    Thanks in advance.

Hey, the sad short answer is that that there aren't any. The Publix on east 40or 27 will have a few Swamp Head and 1st Magnitude beers. The 2 ABC liquor stores are beer lame, just the national distro stuff. If you can get to Gainesville ~40 minutes north from WEC Tipples Bottle Shop or the craft store at Crafty Bastards have decent selections. If you hit the Total Wine in Gainesville really check the dates, they had Stone Enjoy by 7-4-2024 last time I was there. There are 3 breweries in Ocala, Infinite, Hiatus and Big Hammock with very limited can selection. Swamp Head and 1st Mag in Gainesville both have 6-8 beers in cans to go that don't get distributed that are quality stuff. I live about 15 minutes from WEC, if you have time to meet up for a beer I'll bring a few that we can split there.....cheers Vann
