Ocean Isle Beach NC Recommendations

    Hi everyone, my family and I are taking a short trip to Ocean Isle Beach NC in 2 weeks. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a bottle shop where I could grab a few brews that I can't get in Ohio. I really want to try Jai Alai and I figured it should be available down there. Otherwise I just want to grab a few good singles from the south. Any beer recommendations would be appreciated also!

    You should be able to get Jai Alai in grocery stores there. I don't know if you're looking for food recommendations or not but if you like seafood be sure to check out Provision Company

    Wilmington is worth a day trip to load up on craft provisions, beers from New Anthem and Wilmington Brewing Company are not to be missed. New Anthem is cranking out world class IPAs that stand up to Tree House and Trillium.

    There are several great bottle shops in Wilmington as well, my three favorites are Hey Beer, Fermental, and Session Beer Market. All three will have fresh NC locals so be on the lookout for Brewery Bhavana, Fonta Flora, Casita, and Burial. If you are lucky, Heist IPA's have been on tap at Hey Beer.

    Sugar Shack and Causeway Gourmet are can't miss in Ocean Isle. I used to recommend Joey O's Pizzeria, but it has gone down hill fast since it's original New York owners sold it.

    Awesome thank you! I probably won't make it to Wilmington but I appreciate the recommendations and the food as well!

    Thanks I actually just thought of that and used it after I made this post. Looks like it's available at two stores nearby.
