The wife is headed to Arizona for a week, working on her doctorate. Any DIPAs, Imperials, or barrel aged beers out there, she should bring back to Charleston, SC with her?
We get some good stuff you don't in SC I think. Alesmith Speedway Stout is incredible that we get here and it doesn't show you do in SC. We also get Epic, Firestone Walker, Odell, The Bruery.... Don't know if there are any from those Breweries you have wanted to try?
I would add Lumberyard, Ska, Moylan's, Big Sky, Port/Lost Abbey, Deschutes and Moylan's to the list for the styles you are looking for. There is also a good amount of 50 50 Eclipse still around if you want to spend the money. Cheers, Ron
I dont know if I'm too late, but if you are looking for DIPA's pick up Odell Myrcenary in a four pack for 10 bucks, its thier best beer (IMHO) also Doublejack from Firestone walker is realatively fresh and is very similar to Enjoy By. to give you an idea. Try something Local and get a 6er of Hop Knot from Four peaks brewery. It wont disappoint. Cheers
Geren: You said Moylan's twice. Ron: I like Moylan's... --I think Moylan's gets lost in the crowd at times. good call
She got me $50 worth and it bringing it back, so I'm happy. The one's I know of are Double Jack, Knee Deep Hop Shortage, Hop Knot, and a couple other AZ locals.
