Thinking of checking out Ocelot this weekend, but their site is pretty scarce in terms of information. Anyone know what's on tap at the brewery right now? Do they fill any growler?
Check out their facebook page, they posted a picture of their draft board yesterday. They do growler fills, the price is on the tap board.
They will fill any growler from the looks of it, this is not a counter pressure system. Tap to growler. Shit, I didn't have a cap and they gave me one. Nice guys. Now if I can only stop dropping growlers in the parking lot...
Anybody beer to Ocelot this weekend? Same beer lineup as last weekend? They haven't updated their FB page since last weekend.
Had Two Lost Souls last week, got 3 growlers filled, best IPA I've had in VA, easily. Got to catch up with Curtis, and also met the owner and head brewer, about as laid back as you can get. Big fan of their brewery, now I need to get growlers filled next week and start shipping around the country.
I also had Two Lost Souls and thought it was excellent. If you like hoppy beers, you won't be disappointed no matter what is on tap. Having noted that, when I was there last weekend they had six beers on, less than the 10 or so they had on a month or so ago.
They seem to only update facebook when there are new beers on. My guess would be the current list is what was posted last week.
I had a good time in August when I made a visit. Lost Rhino, Old Ox and a few others are out that way. Get a DD and make a day of it.
Make sure you try the new all-Mosaic pale ale. Called Reissue: Mosaic. Going to be part of a rotating, single-hop, pale ale series. It's fantastic.
