    I drank an '02 in '08 and it was sublime. I still have a couple bottles of the '02 but probably will never drink them due to my above theory that no matter how good Old Stock is now, it will always be better with a little more age on it.

    Completely agree. A year turns Founder IS into the best non barrel aged stout that I've ever had.

    I enjoyed a 2008 Schlafly BA Stout last night. It was very good--chocolate and bourbon were well-integrated with dark fruits. Perhaps the lightest hints of oxidation, but it only added to the beer.

    I definitely enjoyed the 08 vintage, though I had no comparison as it was the first time I've had the beer.
