Odd KBS Pricing

    Well, most "bomber" complaints are based on the lousy cost per ounce compared to the same brewer's 12 oz. bottles, but you didn't mention price at all. I have seen some outrageous prices for growlers and crowlers, but I just pass them by I guess.

    Well, I understand that some people don't want drink two servings of the same beer over several hours (i.e., a short enough period time when "resealing" is not really an issue) but 2 pints of beer = "getting blasted" ?

    :thinking_face: Wouldn't that make a pint of beer "half way to being blasted" ? :wink:

    I always thought that the classic quart of beer was the ideal serving for a meal - but, of course, that was based on an era when quarts were cheaper on a "cents per ounce" basis, yet at the same time a "serving" of beer was much less than today's 12-14 oz. faux "pint".

    Depends on the ABV. Not sure I'd try to drink a crowler of beer that's 16-18 ABV.
