Saw this on Facebook from back in December. Looks like it will be debuting in "a few months." Really excited for this one. Morning Wood was fantastic and the thought of a spiced stout going in barrels sounds interesting!

Also, unlike Morning Wood, this one will hit distro.

Noice! I've had this on draft a couple of times and it was quite good. I'll be on the look out for this!

I've had it on tap a couple of times, much better than regular Mayan Mocha.

The regular is definitely awesome. I hope this shows up in my area. I saw a few reviews for the tap version and people seemed to like it. I think it's only 6% too, which is interesting.

I really like this beer but find myself being disappointed every time I drink this beer. The flavors are incredible but the body is just so thin. There are many Odd Side beers that would be absolutely incredible if they only had a bit more body. I like the sound of this beer but fear the lack of body will limit its potential.

Agreed. Odd Side still has some work to do. Most of their offerings are too thin. What a shame since they're right around the corner from me.

agreed, when they figure out how to correct the protein content in there beers watch the f*ck out.

@JamesShoemaker and I had felt the same way with Morningwood. Could hardly pick up the barrel profile the beer was so thin.

The plain Mayan Mocha was awesome on tap last summer. Will be excited to try the BA version.

Just an FYI, there should be a very limited amount of Morning Wood hitting distro in the next few weeks.

Well, that's some good news. I've seen it on tap in the area recently, but still haven't tried it.

I did enjoy this one at Summer Beer Fest, I'd agree w/ Kzoobrew on it being thin. Make this a little more chewy and it could be a contender.

Way too thin and lame. Or so I will say until I'm able to procure a full case for myself.

Per Odd Side on facebook, Java Chip Mint Stout just got bottled. That likely means BBMMS will likely be out in ~4 weeks if their past patterns tell us anything (about 3-6 weeks between new beers, usually released in the order that they post the new labels on their facebook page).

And per Odd Side on facebook again, they're currently emptying the barrels. Should be very, very soon.

They just posted on FB they're emptying the barrels for BB Mayan Mocha with a pic.

To those talking of the thin backbone to MM, keep in mind it's only 6-ish%. I'm still a big fan of this one and am geeked for the BB version in bottles.

Really liked this one at the MI beerfest last year. Like others have said it is a little light in the body but does not lack flavor and is worth trying at the very least IMO
