I would liken it to Robocop, nothing good goes on here without robots at the hip. You should probably stay away.

 

Personally, I could go without the bacon in this one (did it really add anything?). But overall, WOW. Great stuff. If you can get your hands on some, do so.

 

Slow's BBQ. Come for the beer (after 11pm), leave when your hungry. Here at Slow's we focus on having a lot of great beer and shitty BBQ. The beer and hype keep us in business. Slow's BBQ.

 

The owner of Odd Sides told my buddy that bacon is used to "add a creaminess" to it. You're not supposed to taste the bacon.

 

Never had Slow's, but you're clearly some kind of marketing genius. I'm sold.

 

So it has the same effect on beer as it does arteries. Who knew!

 

My buddy claims he picks up a greasiness on the roof of his mouth that he attributes to the bacon. I'm like you - the bacon adds nothing to the beer for me.

Also no I didn't, obviously. But it doesn't matter cause it sucks and they choose to push it so either way it's dumb. That's like saying it's not Taco Bells fault for their D Grade meat (that's so delicious despite it barely being meat) while blaming the people they buy it from.

 

people always go on and on about how great Slows is so i went a couple times. its good if you are used to getting your BBQ from applebees or something but i used to live 10 minutes from the Woodshop which spoiled me. Woodshop is leaps and bounds better, good beer available, great taplist down the block at the Union, and no signs warning me to park at my own risk. aside from Kuhnhenn and Schramms, Union Joints are the only things i miss since ive moved up north.

on topic: im all out of Hipster Brunch.

 

Everyone knows you go to Slow's for the mac and cheese (and maybe a side of some BBQ).

 

Union joints have the far superior mac n cheese. KFC has better mac n cheese than Slows.
