Odd Side: Hipster Brunch

It's been out for quite some time and I'm not sure how often it was the center of a trade. It is a great tasting bottle and good luck landing one!

 

It's hard to say, it saw distro in MI but amounts were pretty low. People who went to the brewery were able to buy as much as they wanted and it was there for a few weeks at least. I traded a few away as part of a "send me whatever" deal. 5 bucks a bottle most places. Something like 240 cases were made.

 

Greg I can bring you 1 to huna weekend since you completely missed out...just put 1 in my box of stuff im bringing up.

 

Its a great beer. I was able to get some quite easily upon release but am not sure what it would take now. My last bottle is going to my regular trade partner/El Cat trustee

 

This seems typical and is similar to my experience. I think I bought a total of 8 bottles, 3 went to a trading partner, I drank one, gave one away, and have three left that I was planning on drinking. Now people are starting to scramble to get them after it's somewhat too late and I'm like do I want to trade any of these or just keep them for myself? At release, the people who got cases were practically throwing them away but now that the word is out, people seem to be guarding what little they have left.

I feel like this line of thought isn't really proving to be as helpful as it seemed in my head. Oh well!!!

I traded a prop for 4 hipsters and 4 morningwoods.

 

Bought 12, traded or gave away 8, drank 2 with 2 left. Wishing I still had more. Thinking of trying to trade some '15 KBS for some more.

you would be making out like a bandit... I'd think a four pack of either of those should do it, bu tVanilla has become one of those red-hot items so who knows.

Also it turns out that I have 4 left instead of 3, so OP feel free to get at me if you just want a couple bottles.

 

Hipster saw very limited distribution. I ended with 16 bottles, but it was so good I drank them all! Because of limited number of bottles, it should trade higher. 8 hipsters for VR is what I would consider a fair trade as Hipster was 17.50 a 4-pack at the brewery.

 

i traded mine $4$ for things like Atrial, HF common saisons, and LPK.

Bought 2 and drank both. Needed more so traded a boltcutter and bcbs x1 for HB x5.
HB x1 bba imp Mayan Mocha x1 and morning wood x1 got me 2 Westbrook 4th anniversary in a trade.
