Odd Side I want my HTV

    Aka Hoplicated, kind of came out of nowhere. I understand this has been on tap at Odd Side but I feel like this release came out of nowhere. This beer is fantastic and the price point is even better. I'm shocked that Odd Side doesn't get the hype it deserves outside of Hipster, Morning Wood and even CPA. I don't want to ruin the secret that all of us Odd Side fans are trying to keep to ourselves, but my goodness another top notch beer from Michigan's most under rated brewery.

    Actually went looking for this today, but to no avail.

    Does anyone know what distro for this looks like? Ann Arbor is usually the last to get just about anything, so I'm not holding my breath.

    @Blutz The Wine Seller in AA definitely has this. Along with some fresh CPA (bottled 9/1). They also still have sixers of Black Citra.

    oddside gets a lot of love here. i was disappointed that they didn't barrel this, only bottle. i am not trying to be that guy, but i am not a fan of their bottles, draft only for me. i don't know what it is, or why. but their bottles just taste completely different then their draft.

    crap...I've noticed this with other breweries. Atwater's Blueberry Cobbler the most recent. Didn't know Oddsides had this issue also, damn.

    I was at Odd Side a month ago and had Morning Wood on draft and felt that I was drinking an entirely different beer, and I am already a fan of this beer in bottles. It was fantastic!

    Merchants also had some coffee stout I've never heard of. My HTV was dated 9/17-not bad!

    This stuff is excellent.

    A side note: I followed a glass of this up with a Founders All Day and I have to say it made the ADIPA taste even better than normal! ADIPA along with 2❤️ Are my everyday drinkers for the most part so I like ADIPA regardless. But somehow it was better than usual after the HTV.

    Give it a try!

    Last night, someone in a beer group I'm in on Facebook posted a picture of this beer and said "Still good."
    I replied, "Still? Even after being the bottle for 11 days?"
    He replied, "Yep. It's on the verge of starting to fade, though."

    So if you're all wondering, this 12 day old IPA is still good. But it's starting to fade!

    I'd say we have a good number of days left. Let me know when it's actually starting to fade--I figure by that point it'll still have some time before it actually fades.

    For those of you who don't know how fading IPAs works, the progression is:
    1. Good
    2. Still Good
    3. Getting Ready To Start Fading
    4. Starting To Fade
    5. Fading
    6. Faded/Drainpour
