Picked one of these up for $14. You get a 2 each of CPA and Bean Flicker and one Brewers choice (mine had merry elf). Unfortunately all are dated mid October.

The reason I bought this however is it also includes a cool spiegelau IPA glass with their logo on it. I figured the glass was probably worth $10 so I'd gladly pay another $4 for 5 beers, even if slightly outdated.

I am pretty sure Merry Elf was the "brewer's choice" in all of them.

I'd be surprised if its an actual Spiegelau glass.

I'm sure it's not made by spiegelau. I just meant it was a style of glass that is typically referred to as a spiegelau IPA glass.

    Fair enough?

indeed it is similar, too bad the opening is so narrow at the top, making it difficult to drink out of.

    I don't think it's a Spiegelau glass.

So I'm assuming you ran out and purchased one of these Odd Packs right after your initial response?

Due diligence, props to you sir!

    It definitely is not.

I realize sometimes there can be dozens upon dozens of posts to read through in a thread which makes it unrealistic to expect everyone to have read everything in said thread.

This thread has under 10 posts which, if you are going to add to the discussion, is definitely few enough to read all responses to make a valuable contribution.

No, I just happened to notice I had one in my cabinet. Did you start this thread to invoke negative responses from people so you can then reply in a condescending and snarky tone?

    Umm, no.

What I can't figure out is someone replying that they'd be surprised if the glass was an actual "Spiegelau" glass, then told that it probably isn't but fits the style, then replies shortly thereafter that it definitely isn't a Spiegelau glass and they know this because they have one in their cabinet....

    Who's being condescending and snarky?

My Brewer's choice was Hipster Brunch. Is that valuable enough?

Mine was Hazel's Nuts, too bad the fake Spiegelau glass wasn't suitable for it so I domed it right from the bottle.

But for $5, I am very pleased with the Odd Side glass I bought at the Black Friday Release party.

I saw that set at the Meijer in St. Joe's. Figured it was Christmas leftovers, since the special beer was a Christmas ale.
