its certainly not a complex beer but i think its gonna be a nice hot day beer. simple but tasting pretty good, ill be buying more of this and the citra.
I'll back this beer. I had it last night, thought it was a pretty well-balanced session IPA, with that unique Simcoe hop character. In fact, this is a far better showcase of Simcoe hops than Kuhnhenn's Simcoe Silly, which covers up those earthy hop notes with too much malt and an overpowering Belgian yeast forward.
One of my favorites from odd side. Bland and boring compared to other session iPa's. but I'm a huge odd side fan. This one just didn't hold my Interest
I am probably not in the minority here. Simcoe hops just do not raise the level of excitement in me that Citra hops do. Got some CPA on my last trip to Michigan. I am hoping it is still around and fresh.
