Cheers to a great event. Sorry I won't be there. Enjoy; draft list looks amazing, and there's a new hotel nearby if needed, even if it is at a really ugly casino...still a bed.
And Cheers to Dark Horse Nation for staying true

Third time's the charm I guess.

Can we just stop making threads about this event now? Pretty sure everyone knows what is going on and it's less than 48 hours away.

I think an Indiana guy reported it last time.

Can't wait for Saturday. Wondering how the Comfort Inn will feel about two wasted dudes checking in together at 9pm.

Is this your first year? ;)

You don't NEED to stay the whole night. 10 hours of drinking is enough for me nowadays. I got out of there before I reached the puking level, and then I puked when I got to the hotel anyways. And I left after most people last year.

We were gone by 7:30-8 last year ... any later and I would have died I'm sure. :)

Yes. This is one of those drink-til-you-puke-then-drink-some-more events.

    I would stay home.

I am a Death Star Lover lover. Also a big fan of the Falconers Flight Crooked Tree (FF dekooor.. Whatever the hell it is). BA Plead is always good.

The ones I haven't had that I'm most curious about are both Lambeeks, BA Monster, and Sour 3 Guy.

Please find some people to share beers with so you can try more than two. Pretty please.

Sure, it's your mother's birthday. I get it. But let me ask you something: what has she done for you lately?

Question - Once we get our tokens at 11am, will the bar be open to get pours or do we have to wait until 3pm on those too? I'd like to try some of the beers before I have to step to the plate a buy bottles so I can prioritize my purchase.

As said, no special taps until 3. That being said, you can buy beer to drink while you are waiting to buy bottles, so you can always order some of what you are on the fence about to help make your decisions.

How to dress for this? Sounds like a stupid questions but is it mostly indoor or outdoor? Will a hoody suffice? It's suppose to be 39 in the am

No line until just before 3 pm last year when they were ready for the actual party to start. And even then you lined up according to your token number. So need for a line.

A majority of people showed up well after 11 (and many didnt show up until 3 or later) last year to grab a token. Everyone still got the beer they wanted. As stated many times in the other threads, this is not the kind of party that requires lining up super early.
