How many tickets do we get to start?

 

Never having done FoBAB before, I'm wondering if breweries bring swag for us. I'm wondering if I should bring a bag to the event or not. Anyone have any idea?

 

I think it was like 10 or 15

Imbibe members get 5 extra tickets.

I have no idea but ill be bringing a backpack with water and snacks in there. On the off chance there is some swag available illl have been happy i brought a bag

I don't recall seeing anything other than beer last year.

 

Damn. 21 tickets total for Imbibers....pretty happy about that!

 

Yeah, I don't remember anything either.

Also, since the beers are divided up by style rather than brewery, the breweries don't really have a place to lay out swag.

 

My tickets for FOBAB are will-call. I completely forgot what I did last year, but do they have a will call booth? Or do I simply bring an ID and they have a list?

I dont recall any swag. The way it has worked in the past, and one of the reason this fest is so awesome, is that the beers are grouped by style of beer and not by brewery. This might be why there isn't the swag there is at other festivals. It also prevents lines for the popular breweries by spreading their beers around.

 

Agreed. Thankfully my fiance is driving me down and picking me up.

 

Last year they had guys with clipboards going through the line, checking off names, and handing out wristbands.

 

Thanks. I came straight from FFF Anniversary party last year so ended up arriving about 20min after it started.

 

I had actually planned on buying more tickets but i think with 21 tickets i should be fine..hopefully im good to drive because i have to attend the lights festival!

At least if im already hungover by that time ill be happy to have had everything im going to try

 

IMO trying to drive anywhere at all after FOBAB would be a huge mistake. This is what cabs are for people! Be safe out there!

 

I called BPT and they said since it is a Restricted Event the name on the ticket cannot be changed.

I got a response from FOBAB's facebook, and this was the reply "One ticket, one entry". So nobody stress over tickets. If you have a ticket you get in! See you Saturday afternoon session!
