No - I know they can't sell at the brewery but, I was thinking like it'll be like a "Tour Only" brew or something

I see what you are asking. I believe starkmarvelo said that he got an email from Brock saying Bars and Restaurants.

...anybody know the top 5 accounts? I'm guessing they are also the same 5 that have been serving SA since 1994?

Maybe Star pizza will get some since they been supporting them for a while.

I don't believe you can unless you are going to open the bottles to pour them into your growler. Then drink it from your growler at the bar. Bottles only, on-premise.

They will probably all be this small unless they are a great success and SA builds a larger, much larger, barrel room.

I love that SA is going in the right direction with a more interesting porfolio but I am quickly getting fatigued here in Houston with these Willy Wonka golden ticket hunts. Between DR, Pumpkinator, and now what Karbach is doing, I just don't have enough comp time to be chasing down twitter threads to find a couple bottles. 60bbls? What is next? 10 bottles hidden around the city? The whole concept ups the ante for quality which is a plus but having quarterly (or even more frequent than that) one offs that can't even come close to meeting the demand (and grossly increases it in the process) is borderline irresponsible towards the customers interests. I love Endeavor but I have to sift through 3 month old bottles to find a fresh one. If SA never made it a regular and told us on this forum that DR11 was going into a limited re-release, people would be taking sick days to snatc up cases upon cases again. The whole limited quantity concept breeds hype which some how makes beer taste better topic is an old and tired one so I will leave it at that.
So with my whining out of the way, see you all on Bishop release day! :stuck_out_tongue:

If anyone is wondering what bars are going to get this, I think I can give you a hint on one. The name of the bar is one of JP Donleavy's books.

I completely agree with sweetbooze. The only reason i chased after pumpkinator was cause Ive had it and wanted more. All these other one off "limited" brewery releases are obnoxious.

I gambled on Pumpkinator this year. Luckily it was good. But I see your point and must agree. It can get a tad bit ridiculous.

Wow, i must be a lightweight. Ive only been here 3 years and im already done with searching and hunting for these beers.

Not saying i dont want them, but it does get bothersome having to hunt this blindly.

That said, its good to see so much enthusiasm from locals and some cool beers hitting stores and bars.
