The Dig in Cedar Park got 12 bottles from what the bartender said. Everyone sitting at the bar at the time had one and the rest were gone in 5 mins. One other place got less and didn't even post having it. Only reason I know that is through a friend that works there.

Then they got more in today or lied to several people yesterday.

 

It's not Saint Arnold's fault that someone working there took half the case.

These shipped in cases, not 12 packs.

 

Maybe that's true but that's not what was told to people. The Dig said they had to beg for a second six pack even though they have a good relationship with SA.

 

I've never heard of a distribution channel that sells single 6 packs in Texas. I could be totally wrong, but I've never seen it before.

general distributor's license may:
(1) receive beer in unbroken original packages from
manufacturers and from general, local, or branch distributors;
(2) distribute or sell beer in the unbroken original
packages in which it is received to general, branch, or local
distributors, to local distributor permittees, to permittees or
licensees authorized to sell to ultimate consumers, to private club
registration permittees, to authorized outlets located on any
installation of the national military establishment, or to
qualified persons for shipment and consumption outside the state;
and

Ummm I don't think its possible for a distributor to sell 6 packs to accounts. Sounds like the cases have to be unbroken.

That combined with the fact that the Dig just posted they had some left means they are full of shit. Screw that place.

 

At least Waxahachie got some.....
