No it's not probably taking that one and the Hel and Verdormenis out and having them last.

Man, what I wouldn't give for a BA Ten FiDY... Unfortunately from what I've heard, it's mind boggling expensive...

The Ivan is BA. It's 2010 and the BCBS is an 09. Parabola is this years.

2009 BCBS will probably win unless that Ivan is a beast. Parabola is up there, but the rest, although tasty, just won't hold up. Should be a fun time!

Hey guys, so yall know, we received two cases up at Banger's today and they'll go on sale some time tomorrow. 2 bottle limit was what we discussed, but it hasn't been set in stone just yet. We do allow for bottles to be taken to go as well.

Was up at Whip In today and they were still serving it.

You know I keep pretty good track of what's going on in DFW. I had no idea how many of you guys there are in Ft Worth until people started using that google map. Don't raise a stink but let Saint Arnolds know you guys were missed, I'm sure they can still right that wrong.

Im sure they will. As stated before this is just their first super small run. Based on it's success we can only hope Barrel #2 (old ale in merlot right?) does as well an in a bigger batch.

I thought I heard that it will be released in January??? But, I could be wrong and batch should be the same size due to the time it was brewed and put into the barrel. Could St. Arnold benefit to not push out as many "rumored" BA releases over the next 6 months and increase the volume of output?

Edit...what about the rumored BA Christmas Ale?

No regrets, it's not a world beater.

Second bottle confirmed it's not worth trampling little old ladies for. :grinning:

Home Field Grill in Round Rock officially has the BB1 available now, if anyone in the north Austin/RR area wants to give it a go. On site only.

BB2 is supposed to be an Old Ale aged in Chardonnay Barrels with Cherries - So the Old Ale in question is Christmas Ale?....February 2013 can't come fast enough then.

I know BB3 is the one we've known about forever, The one with Cocoa Nibs in Bourbon Barrels...no body knows for sure wtf beer it is though. (Dunkel?)

Also how many of these are there supposed to be?!?! lol

IMO, I would have doubled out put and slowly ramped up the barrel program. With a slow increase, they could of put out more volume with volume 1.

The small release was not because they could not or did not want to make more, it's about marketing. Small quantity, bigger demand.
