Man, online pre-sales would be awesome. It would make things a whole lot easier. I cannot wait for the outdated laws to change, if they ever change.

Same here. Only reason I got Pumpkinator and Krunkin was I was already off that day. Not going to wast 12hrs PTO/vacation time for beer.

I got some Krunkin last Thursday when it finally arrived at the HEB in Friendswood. They got two cases and had a one bottle limit. I grabbed one after work at 3.30pm. Luckily there was still some there.

The only reason I got any Pumkinator is because someone else was off that day and offered to get me some. I got lucky on Krunkin. I just happened to be headed home from the office and called the downtown Spec's and they had some still. Depending on the day they release the Bishops Barrel I may be off so I will definitely try to find a bar that is selling it.

And no resourceful BAs could figure out a way to smuggle some of the "liquid gold" out...

Great questions about when and where the release will be. I know we're packaging it this week, but beyond that, I'm not sure. I'll ask around the brewery this week and see if I can get some answers. Thanks.

Where do you live? Do you know what district it is? If so, then you can write your Rep's and tell them to hook it up, and if they don't give a shit, vote for someone else. Democracy rules!

Yeah man, i would love to see some of these laws changed. I would love to be able to buy straight from the brewery. I mean its more money in their pockets than other middlemen, so we both win! Was up in vermont last summer and was shocked on how easy it was to buy beer directly from a brewery.

I am curious if people are really that confused on which bars are getting the bottles or if nobody just wants to say it.

Ahum... Flying Saucer Houston, Petrol Station, Flying Saucer Sugar Land. Maybe a few other places but those three will be getting it.

Agreed, add to that some old timers:

Gingerman (for sure), Stags Head, Rudz, maybe Richmond Arms or Mucky Duck

I was surprised at how long WBDPP sat on tap there, and this was the first place that came to mind when mention of bar only.release.

I love Rudz. I went in once on a whim, they had two Mysterium Verum, Rumpkin, and 10.10.10 on all at once. Nobody new about it

Wow, the anti-hype movement is out in force. Did the Krunkin/Pumpkinator thing finally tip the scales again?

I'm of two minds here. Yes, I hate the chasing we have to do these days (gone are the "if you go to Smith St. every Friday you'll be able to get everything new" days), but on the other hand I find it hard to swallow that breweries experimenting and releasing new things are being irresponsible. That just seems crazy entitled to me.

I'll probably never get to try this release, and that's a bummer, but the last thing I'd think to do is get mad at SA over that.
