Well, they sure made it sound the opposite... But, I agree that they seem to have made a lot if the number of cases we just saw over by the entrance when we've walked by on our way to eat down the street.

 

Nobody loves Shorts more than me, but they went over the line today.
Way too many tickets sold. It was rediculously crowded.
Long lines for food and even the porta johns.
The beer lines were one big clusterfuck.
That said, I love Shorts so much! The beer was great.
The music was super. Greensky Bluegrass was amazing.
Please respect us more and resist the urge to just go for the money.

I agree it was tight in there after the first hour. Not sure about the food lines, as we were crowded down there but that seemed largely due to the time it took to get good. Still, we had an awesome time. I only wish I had gotten some growlers to go. I'm already looking forward to next year.

 

How did they do on allocations of Creepster? Did everyone not get what they wanted?

 

4500 tickets sold total. I thought it was fine personally, it was crowded but not as much as last year. Opened a Creepster bottle last night and it was fantastic. This was after drinking all day and slaying a few whales, so that is saying a lot IMO.

 

So everyone got Creepster if they wanted it?

 

I walked up around 6:30pm and they had some Creepster left. It did end up selling out by end of the night.

 

they had bottles of Creepster in the pub this morning, so if they sold out last night they must have had more hiding somewhere.

 

when i showed up at 4 and the line went around the block and back towards the party i thought for sure id be missing out on bottles but i ended up getting mine thankfully because it is a really nice beer. i was very impressed with how fast the line went so they did a great job there. food was awesome and beer was great as always. the grapefruit berliner was probably my favorite of the new ones ive had. i cant remember the name but the cherry cider was outstanding.

 

Awesome time. Lasted the entire event and tried everything I planned on. Accidentals and Greensky were awesome.

Had creepster last night and really enjoyed it.

 

Had a great time! Enjoyed creepster Sunday morning and it was delicious. Got to try everything I wanted to.
