So, if anyone hears anything or any little birds land on your window sill, please, let us know what you hear concerning a release time-frame. Maybe December or January now?

Would love to know as well. I'll be in Ft. Laud Dec. 18 through the 24th so I'm hoping I don't have to beg my friends to mule for me.

Prob won't happen until January. They were focusing on making sure their bottling line was perfect for their December 10 release of Hop Gun and Floridian beers. They also wanted to improve their process to eliminate what happened with Muy Bonita. You can subscribe to their newsletter on their website. After Hop Gun and Floridian comes Nib Smuggler and Last Snow in January.

Yeah, I had a messed up Blueberry cobbler. I thought it tasted ok, but I have no idea if that's how it was supposed to taste. It foamed like crazy. This pic is after it started to settle down.

This was the last info they sent out in the imperial club newsletter

"Additionally, many of you are probably also aware by now that we've had some spoilage issues with our Barrel-Aged Muy Bonita bottle release. While we were very happy with the finished beer, over time that beer developed characteristics in bottles that effectively ruined the experience for many people. This sucks. We know we're not the first brewery to have these problems, but having that happen was a huge kick in the pants to us. We need to make sure that it doesn't happen again. To that end, we're doing a lot to try and sold that issue, from investigating different methods of handling raw and natural ingredients to building on and improving our lab processes and equipment. We've still got some work to do in this regard, but after giving it some serious thought we decided it was best to finish implementing these changes before releasing BA Snowed In.

Worst case scenario, this beer will be ready by January 10. As always, we will keep you posted on status and updates, and you guys will naturally still have first crack at this bottle when it does arrive."

Oh, I'm 99.99% positive it won't release at the same time as MBCP, but I can still dream.

Its still coming. And I believe the official name is Last Buffalo in the Park. But I could be wrong on that.

The name probably stems from the Buffalo Trace barrels that they used, so if in the future they change barrel providers the name of the beer will probably change, too. It was released in January, so best case scenario is they made a big batch and that same beer has been resting in those barrels this whole time absorbing dat sweet sweet whiskey juice for a few additional months, growing stronger until it finally unleashes its fury on the south Florida community like a caged coconut/coffee animal.

Worst case scenario is the beer was scrapped and I sink into a deep depression.

    Maybe @funkybuddha can enlighten us?

One thing is for sure...Last Buffalo In the Park is a ridiculously fantastic beer. If that ends up being what is bottled, well...I'll need a lot more Florida trade partners...

Anyone know if they're still taking the unopened bottles of BA Muy in exchange for this?

Maybe it is a reference to the removal of the buffalo from Paynes Prairie State park?

I imagine so, I'm sure a lot of those bottles are going to show up for this release.
