Oh well. The rum DB is phenomz. Totes phenomz.

I have this feeling that they are going to be releasing single barrel variants semi often, given how their approach to this beer has shaken up. So another coconut version could come any time. Who knows.

Huge thanks for the rest of the bottle of Reserve you handed off. Feel bad I didn't make it in time to buy you a couple of pours. The bottle made it's way down the line though and left some people very happy. Next time you're in town let me know and beers are on me.

Anyone want to share a Reserve bottle early Sunday? Fly into denver at 10 and hoping to make my way up there not too long after noon. Since I’m driving I’m thinking solo doming a bottle is not a good idea.

Did they hold some back for each day or is that all of it?

I'm coming in this afternoon. First timer. What's their policy on bottle shares?

I love weldwerks and was there today from around 1-3. I had the bloody bits and did not care for it. The raspberry flavor waa really good but it had a really bad bitter finish that wasn't great.

The coffee maple was really hot imo. I didn't get much coffee or maple. Just really strong alcohol imo.

The FTS was not great either. I couldn't figure out what this beer was suppose to be. A morning breakfast beer? If so it missed the mark. I didn't get much maple at all..

Both the raspberry and dbl blackberry Berliners were good not great.

The coffee coconut stout i thought was outstanding by far the best of the day. It was not on tap I bought a 4 pack to take home and was very glad I did.

Overall I was very disappointed. I thought the beers would be much better. But oh well I had a good time

The bloody bits was a pass for me, didn't even try it; raspberry IPA? sounds "interesting" at best. The French Toast Stout is definitely a milk stout at heart, with maple/ cinnamon in the background (it is very hard to get maple flavor to show through in beer without it either fermenting out or becoming too sweet), but I do agree the maple was faint. However if someone handed you that beer and said it was a milk stout, I bet you'd've thought it was great.

Also, did you not try the 2 medianoche's on tap ?? Those are super world class examples of the style.

Actually I didn't try either one of those or the cookies and cream achro. ..

You might be right about the FTS. I was just expecting something like funky Buddha where the flavors jump out at you.

I do want to go back tomorrow to just get more coffee coconut stout. That one was killer imo

For what it's worth, the first batch of FTS was more maple forward, but it was also sweeter and not as balanced or drinkable. So you win some, lose some.

I personally think they excel in the barrel aged stout game, as well as their hoppy stuff. Everything else is really solid. So overall really good. But understand any frustration, i've had it myself there a few years in the passed with some of their older releases. But they're getting better and better. So it's always worth a trip when they release a new beer or rerelease something.

What's this talk of Reserve being infected? Is it just BS trolling?

Until I see a bunch of people reporting it as such, I'm going with trolling.
