So whatever happened to the plan to replace the infected Medianoche Reserva bottles? It's been several months since the last update unless I missed something.

 

I believe we're still waiting for Mexican Medianoche to be ready for bottling

 

Does anyone know if there will be any additional Mexican Medianoche bottled? Or is there only enough to use it as a replacement for the reserve?

 

Not 100% sure but I think its just a replacement

 

Does anyone know if Tropical Punch Berliner hit distro in the Denver area? It looks like most stores got fresh juicy bits and red velvet cake as recently as today, but I haven't been able to find TPB anywhere. Thanks!

Just had the sixth edition Extra Extra yesterday. About as good as it gets for a hazy double. I would put it up with most Monkish and OH doubles I have had over the last year.

 

I don't understand how the invitational is not sold out. I get that Greeley smells bad, but this is a pretty killer list.

My friend in Denver keeps taunting me about the list. It's getting annoying. I may or may not have checked flights...

 

This is literally the best pour list for any fest I have ever seen. It even puts Denver Rare Beer to shame IMO. I swore off fests a long time ago, but this even has me tempted.

 

Insane list. Really bummed I can't make it. Had a work trip moved to that weekend. I have two tickets listed the Beer Tickets sub-forum if anyone wants to grab them from me with a small discount.

 

100% agreed. That list is insane. Just booked the first flight out of CA that morning and purchased tickets for the 2nd session. If anyone is interested in trading some Weldwerks for Bottle Logic let me know. Can't wait!!!!

 

I’ve got 2 friends flying in from Chicago the Thursday before the fest. They bought tickets right when they went on sale and booked flights right after. Pretty sure they got fairly cheap airfare but that was back in March. I’m sure it’s more now.

The best part about there being so many ridiculously good beers is that there shouldn’t be too many long lines as most people should be spread out drinking all the whales at multiple stations.

 

I had assumed this event would be amazing and would sell out quickly, so I bought two tickets to the evening session. And while it does look amazing, it seems that some combo of the location, ticket price and the fact that this is a new event have resulted in rather tepid interest. Now I've got an extra ticket and no one who wants it. Not to undercut @Justins123, but I'm also willing to sell/trade my extra ticket for whatever I can get, better than just wasting it!

 

WW posted earlier today that they are nearly sold out of both sessions and now that most of the list (if not all of it) has been announced, I wouldn’t think you would have a hard time selling 1 ticket.

 

Anyone have a room they’re not using at the double tree for Friday-Saturday??

 

I booked a room at the Clarion, 5 minute walk and pet friendly

 

I’ve got a room booked at the Clarion Inn and Suites a few miles away from the fest that I’ll be canceling in the next week or so. Definitely don’t want to be staying in Greeley for an entire Saturday. Room is for Saturday night only.
