Going from Ohio to Dover,DE for a night, then to Philly for 2 nights. Will be staying by Independence Hall. Then headed to Newport, RI for 3 nights before off to Maine for 4 nights, and VT for 4 nights. Need suggestions for trip before Maine part (have done ME and VT 5+times already). Looking for awesome bottle shops (Russian River, New England Brewing) and good pubs. Thanks..
You will only very rarely find any nebco in ri. In Newport there's noreys for rare beers you won't see at other bars. Pour judgement has a bigger tap list and a more relaxed dive bar feel. Malt has a decent selection as well. There's a thread that describes more things in newport pretty well on here if you do a search
Rather fond of Pour Judgment myself. Not sure that extra 40 minute ride is worth it, esp. given amount of driving you're doing. While on the subject of Philadelphia: I once spent a year in Philadelphia , I think it was on a Sunday.
