Currently at the Bee, it's pretty good. I like it a lot better than Eiraphiotes. Obviously a different beer, but the wine barrel characteristics work better with this IMO.

No apology needed as far as I am concerned, thanks for responding and getting the information out so quickly. I had already opened one, and even though it was a little under carbonated it was still very good. I can't wait to open another in a month or so and try it as it is intended. Keep up the great work, you've put out a lot of interesting and enjoyable beer!

This is class right here folks. And a damn fine Saison.

PS... I dig the moustache on the label, I'm assuming that's an homage for Jake?

Heard from the OHB guys this weekend that Saison Gee bottles should be good to go as long as it was kept at room temp, and Tasty Beverage Co. has it back out on the floor for sale. Great stuff!

There were about 2.5 cases on the floor at Tasty tonight.

Anyone else get any diacetyl from their bottles?

It's aged in Chardonnay barrels... Chardonnay is known for buttery aroma compounds due to malolactic fermentation.

    More importantly, was it carbonated?

Did as instructed and just popped it opened tonight. The carbonation was there creating a 1" froth. This is my first Saison and I'm liking it very much. Thanks for the assistance.

It should be fine on carbonation now.. When did you drink it?
And yeah, it's buttery. I had a few sips a couple days ago and it definately displays charactaristics of the barrel.
