What's the verdict from you blokes in the UK?

This just showed up recently in my town and I'm digging the hell out of it.

I really like the stuff, a good easy to find and quick to serve stout with decent enough
well rounded and fairly deep flavours.

Over here amongst real ale drinkers if there was no cask and going to another pub(ie regular venue, sports game etc) then Guinness Original bottles would be bought,
O'Hara's I think would be a much welcome beverage since the demise of the bottled G.

You can get it in Marks and Spencers.

Oh is it relabelled as the M&S Dry Irish Stout?

The good thing about being friends is...never having to say you're sorry.

I confess I've never heard of this either. But then Irish brews are conspicuously missing from the good bottle shops near me - I've never seen any beers from the smaller Irish breweries that I've heard mentioned on this site.

I saw this on an Irish webshop, but I have to admit that browsing their selection was very much like blah blah blah Bourbon County, Brooklyn Black Ops, Odell Bourbon Barrel Stout blah blah blah. Sorry, domestic Irish brewers :slight_frown:

Brooklyn Black Ops fits much more in the "blah blah" corner than O'Hara's.
