That was damn fun two years ago. Last year fell over Turkey Day weekend and I was outta town so I missed that one. Looking forward to it (if I don't get tickets to the SEC championship that is).

These events are always a good time. Btw, the Founders dinner last night at ducks was awesome!!! Kbs, bolt cutter, nitro poured pale, backwoods bastard, rubicus. All paired nicely with delicious plates!! They also had doom and harvest ale on too. I'm guessing they still have these bad boys on tap too.

LP is a Bomber. Too bad it was a disappointment for you, one of my favorites I look forward to.

I agree with this but will add that in this scenario there aren't really any "$15 bottles of wine", at least not enough to be significant. I understand the problem if Ivegotmule hated LP though; If you hate something, whatever you paid is going to be too much, even if it is on par price wise with similar beers in it's class. Especially so since the class of BA Stouts is going to be more than a typical shelf beer that one doesn't mind drain pouring.

BTW, I've never had a beer too expensive to drain pour. I might give one a few more chances than others, but if I don't like it fack it. My fridge is too full as it is, and I'm getting old enough that I don't want to waste the calories!

I'm with you. Loved it two years ago, missed it last year. Hope to not make the same mistake this year.
