Ohio beers

    People should probably start to research this topic.. By now, it should be common knowledge that Jackie O's doesn't distribute their bottles. You can only get them at bottle releases at the brewery. This info is in about 1000 threads.

    They did buy a canning line, I think the ETA of cans in stores by September (correct me if I'm wrong, read this in an article I think). For now, I think it's their more basic beers like brown ale and IPA. Probably at least a year before you'll see bottles such as Dark Apparition.

    Thanks for the info I was wondering why I wasnt seeing any Jackie's around. I cant wait to get my hands on some cans I here so many good things about there beer I've been dying to try it out

    When do they release bottles???

    so do they have a shop down there that sells there bottles?? Will dark apparition be forsale in august???

    They sell the bottles out of the brewpub. I don't know about DA being available or not. I've heard rumblings of Funky South Paw being available, which would be awesome.

    The Party Source has one of the largest beer selections in the Cincinnati area, but is actually just over the river in KY, so I would definitely check KY as well.

    Rivertown Brewing is a local Cincinnati based brewery. Their main line of stuff is pretty good. I'd say their one-offs are where they really shine though. Their lambic is actually really good. Their special releases tend to be some more odd stuff and tend to be really good imo.
