Have family coming down from Loveland. 2 things: 1: what bottle shop do you recommend them going to? One stop. 2: what's available right now that is not in NC? Any help is appreciated. Cheers!
http://seekabrew.com/distro/compare.html is a great resource for traveling. Glancing at your wants, I'd recommend: Rivertown, based out of Cinci, do some pretty good sours. White Rajah by Brew Kettle & Bodhi (growler/tap only) by Columbus Brewing are awesome IPAs. Mirror Mirror by Deschutes shouldn't be too hard to find. That said, Party Source in Cinci (just across the state border - not sure if that's too far) was pretty awesome when I was there; giant selection (largest mikkeller selection i've seen anywhere), including kegs. Jungle Jim's was pretty good too & might be a little less of a hike. Just a couple of ideas!
Don't know about a bottle shop, but aside from what the other guy mentioned, beers from Rhinegeist, Mad Tree and West Sixth are worth buying. Plus Head Hunter if you can find it somewhere.
