I have a coworker going through Ohio this weekend (Toledo, Cleveland, etc.). Luckily her husband is a beer guy too so I know he'll be making a few shopping stops. Anything specific that is out right now I could have them try and grab for me? There are the usual suspects, Fathead, Alesmith, Jackie Os (maybe), Hoppin Frog, 6 Point, etc. But anything specific in the market down there right now that would be a good choice? Limited options? New releases? Huge Thanks.
Jackie O's bottles are typically great, but I haven't found any of their canned offerings to be spectacular. Any of their dark beers are awesome. Grab some Fat Head's Head Hunter IPA and White Rajah. Right now, I have been digging Seventh Son's Proliferous DIPA. Should be available only in the Columbus area though.
I was thinking some head hunter, even though I've had it before. But was hoping maybe there were some limited releases out right now.
Not many people like dropping 25+ per 750. Just saying. Edit: Trail Head is well worth picking up, though.
Not much in the way of limited/seasonal stuff right now. There is the already mentioned new canned beer from JO's and Trail Head. Mad Tree Galaxy High is a great beer that is making its way around now. I think someone in the "new to Ohio" thread mentioned a Toledo area sighting. Best bet is to grab some fresh Head Hunter and White Rajah and some crowlers of PBCP from Willoughby
Will be in Cleveland today, anyone know of a place that currently has Bodhi on? Preferably a place that does growlers, but id settle for a couple pours.
I'm not going to argue with that but if you are going to grab bottles in Ohio you can't get in Michigan those are available. Since for the most part nothing to exciting is being released right now.
